I use a Leica M10, exclusively (almost. I did not take it on the raft down the Grand Canyon). Many galleries and photos and blog articles with the M10 at www.travelisbeautiful.com.

That’s a great trip. I did that about 15 years ago. Wonderful experience. I admit, I wouldn’t have taken my Leica either. Although I would have loved to have one. JD

It's 'only' a certificate mis-configuration. The certificate is valid for *.myportfolio.com websites (which is Adobe's). I guess that the domain forwarding to the Adobe portfolio website for Mike site isn't correctly setup.

in short: annoying error, but no real risk. The only risk is that you might see some beautiful photo's

Also in my signature. I use an M262 and M7. Prior to the M7, it was an M2.

I rarely post here since many of the regulars have more professional experience and do a good job of replying so adding an echo seems superfluous.

Thanks willemr. You are correct that there is no risk. This seems to be an occasional issue and is frustrating. As you say, it is an adobe portfolio site. The URL does have the 's' (secure) in the 'https' address prefix in visitor's search bar. IOS operating systems will display the padlock symbol before the URL.

Mike.

Also in my signature is a link to my website.

I made the decision to switch from a Phase One MF digital in 2010 to a M9 (always on a tripod) for my work. A big decision at the time but for me the pros out weighed the cons. I am no longer a working photographer and the site reflects change. Almost all the photos on my site are from a M9 or M240. A few are taken with the SL.

I sold my M240 body about 6 months ago thinking I would use my SL more with a combination of M and SL lenses and perhaps pick up a new M10P when they became available. I am on extended travels at the moment and very much miss my M camera, especially when in an urban area. I miss the compactness and the way one tends to shoot with a rangefinder. I intend to pick up a M10P as soon as I can.

Just a (big) collection of candid captures. I was recommended to downscale my web page from about 100 pictures to about 10. I tried it a short while, but because I have no one else to share them with (my family is not interested), I ended up with 1000 photos 🙂

The photos are annotated with camera and lens info for curious viewers.

Thank you for taking the time to share your kind remarks.

India being such a colorful place, I left the Monochrom at home. I had the M10-P and the CL with me but never carried both at the same time. The 35mm Summilux was responsible for the most shots followed by the 28mm Summicron. The 11-23mm Super-Vario-Elmar-T was mounted on the CL. It's the first zoom I've ever owned and it surpassed my expectations in every way.
