I had a bulk roll of Neopan in my freezer for longer than I care to remember. In fact it was labelled Freestyle Legacy Pro so I think it's about 10 years old. Eventually, I got around to filling some cartridges with it but still they languished in my fridge for a year. It's past history now as it's no longer available, but perhaps you might find some in your freezer.

So, my first time with Neopan 400 and first time with HC110. I opted for:

Shot at 250

HC110 dilution 1+49 for simplicity (kind of dil E)

6 minutes at 20C

After levels in Photoshop, and a very little tinkering in Lightroom gives this:

 

 

It's not such an interesting photo, but I chose it for the tonal range from very dark depths of Aira Force, to bright light on the vegetation lining the chasm. Should I change anything for my next attempt? Comments welcolme.

I would say it looks pretty decent and I personally don’t think you can improve it much more.

 

Of course you can test the real speed of the film but probably in the fridge even for such long time there is no significant loss of sensitivity if at all.
