OPEN THREAD: Photos taken with Leica LTM.

Recommended Posts

This thread is very useful to me from a selfish perspective. All my LTM photos have been taken in the last year, and it is a steep learning exercise, not so much from a technical point of view, but working out what sort of photos these cameras, lenses and films are good at, and what I want to use them for. In selecting photos to post, I find myself homing in on photos of people rather than landscapes or abstracts. This will be very helpful as I use them more.

Leica Standard, Summitar 5cm, Delta 400

The Leica Standard is a joy to use as long as I can get exposure (usually Sunny 16) and focus (zone focusing) right - it is just so tiny. These are all taken with the 5cm Summitar, but I now keep a Nikkor 2.8cm on the Standard - it makes focusing simpler!

I regrettably sold my Leica Standard a couple years ago, but here's an image with the 50/3.5 Elmar on 400TMY.

The three photos I posted above were taken with the Nikkor 3.5cm f/2.5, not the Summitar. (The problems of tracking such data when it is not automatically recorded in EXIF).
