Not sure about amount of scratches, but it looks like missing Photo Flo as well.

Here is one where I was experimenting with a couple of old M39 screw lenses - this is Russian JUPITER 135mm f4 and it does not work with the IIIc Rangefinder so I have to 'Estimate' the Meter Distance . Light was terrible in Brentwood High Street . I had a test length of outdated KB40 loaded pushed to 80 ASA in Home-Made ID11 1+1 Aperture was f4.

Despite all the inconveniences, the end result has been very acceptable.

Instead of 135mm, for my screw-mount Leica IIIa syn 105mm is the longest used focal length.
And since the old Mountain Elmar 6.3-105mm is too faint for me, I use a M39-Nikkor PC 2.5-105mm ltm.
Here is a picture of the Lindau lighthouse on Lake Constance, followed by a photo of the camera-lens combination used

The first serious camera I got from my father to learn the ropes was a 1949 IIIf with an Elmar 50/3.5. The camera was later exchanged for a M2 but I still have (and use) the lens.

Here's three shots I took in oktober 1973 with the IIIf/Elmar combo of a special excursion steam train in Enschede (Netherlands). Film was AGFA ISS developed for 100 ASA.

I still have enough photos photographed with Leica IIIa syn.
But I didn't want to be the only one posting images here.
Attached are three pictures on the subject of twin locomotives.
