cgiammona Posted September 3, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) With my camera in shutter priority mode (for example) and dial set to 1+, regardless of my iso when i move the thumb wheel it will not go above 1s. Is this a glitch or am I missing something? Chris

Leica Guy Posted September 3, 2018 Share #2 Posted September 3, 2018 Well, that’s interesting. Mine goes to 120 S. It will go to “T” if Im in full manual mode. Are you in PASM mode? I’m at ISO 100. I remember running into this myself early on. I can’t remember the fix. I’ll noodle on it. Perhaps someone else will jump in and save us. :-)

Leica Guy Posted September 3, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) Customize control thumbwheel to auto. I suspect thats your problem. Edited September 3, 2018 by Infiniumguy
Leica Guy Posted September 3, 2018 Share #5 Posted September 3, 2018 Wonder why the self-timer doesn’t work when in “T”? I would think it still valuable to not jar the camera at the beginning of a long exposure. It works when 120S is selected. Strange a little.

Leica Guy Posted September 4, 2018 Share #8 Posted September 4, 2018 3.0 firmware? Are you now getting to 120 secs? I’m stumped. Perhaps someone else can think of the trick.

Leica Guy Posted September 4, 2018 Share #10 Posted September 4, 2018 (edited) I don’t think so. Are you in full manual? Aperture, ISO, shutter selected. Can you now get to 120S? If so, we've made progress. On my camera if aperture is in A, I can only go to 120S. I then select an aperture and I can take the shutter to T. Leica Guy Posted September 4, 2018 Share #12 Posted September 4, 2018 On full manual - aperture, shutter, and iso, I can only get to 1s. Try toggling your shutter dial back and forth several times. Make sure it’s solidly in the detent for 1+.
cgiammona Posted September 4, 2018 Author Share #13 Posted September 4, 2018 Try toggling your shutter dial back and forth several times. Make sure it’s solidly in the detent for 1+. Tried that as well with no luck. I have also contacted Leica customer service. I still think there may be a glitch with my camera or the firmware. dadohead Posted September 4, 2018 Share #16 Posted September 4, 2018 Oops, forgot to add that you can't have the Thumb Wheel set to Exp. Comp. I have Long Exposure set as a profile.
cgiammona Posted September 4, 2018 Author Share #17 Posted September 4, 2018 Try turning off the electronic shutter or putting it on extended. Ok, that did the trick. Having the electronic shutter always on was the issue.
