BrianH8er Posted September 1, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just tried to take a pic with the 109 held vertically, taller than wide. The pic is within a horizontal image, loads of wasted space either side. What have I got set wrong to make this strange outcome.

wizard Posted September 1, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 1, 2018 Are you looking at your camera screen to view the shot? Then just turn the camera such that the camera screen is in a vertical position (just as you held your camera when taking the shot), and you should see a different representation of your shot. Best, Andy
BrianH8er Posted September 2, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted September 2, 2018 Thanks all for your thoughts. Wizard Andy, sadly the display did not change when camera orientated vertically. What I had not done is download/import the actual images and view them whereupon all is fine. It seems view/disp screen in the camera only displays on a horizontal plane. The actual images are fine
lct Posted September 2, 2018 Share #6 Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) If your camera works like my LX100, you may wish to check in the Playback menu that "Rotate Disp." is set to OFF. Edited September 2, 2018 by lct
