Publicity shot for a play.
SL2-S + Summilux-M 35 pre-asph v2, at f/1.4.
In this same session/location I shot a video clip with this lens, stopped right down to f/16. While contrast remained lowish, it was sharp. It easily picked up flare though, even though the weather was clouded - a slight purple/magenta fuzzy spot.

I'd rather not shoot stopped down past f8. You're likely to lose quality at f16. But you probably had a reason for shooting at f16.

Yes, my reason was that the clip required me to approach the woman from a distance, ending with a moderate close-up of her hand, and then her face. I chose the lens for the older/vintage rendering (the play is set in the C18, and my alternative was the Apo-Summilux-SL 35), so I wanted a deep DOF to avoid manual focusing while hand held and walking, which I couldn’t trust myself to do. I set it at a near hyperfocal distance. The result looks OK to me and to the person I was doing it for.

Been doing this little self portrait thing for the past couple weeks. MP, 35 1.4 Pre-A v2 German, Tri-x, first shot pushed to 800, last two pushed to 1600. Dev’d in Ilfotec HC. Middle shot kinda heavily cropped.

Other camera on my shoulder is a FM3a with color film. Keeps my bases covered.

Nice photo Sunnyforreal, and as a bonus I now know what snagging is :)
