I'm really interested in it too. Do you think you'd be able to shoot the same subject side by side with both lenses to compare ? That first shot of the bushes would be great, for example. 

I wish I could but I don’t have the 8e any longer lol I did shoot with it extensively (I owned it for about 3y and it was my most used lens).

Steel rim bokeh wide open. The in focus areas are detailed yet glowy which is such a unique rendering that makes me love this lens.
