How many of these beautiful shop windows and places are there in London? Your great examples never seem to end. 😊

Ha Ha, not enough, but at least these examples are now safe from unsympathetic redevelopment.

This is another from the same area, Dennis Severs' House in Folgate Street.

There are a great many though sadly these shops are declining in number. Those in that part of London have been very well documented in the past by artists (painters) and photographers. Several years ago, I spent two weekends at a blog writing course in the same building depicted with the bicycle in front of the shop. There is one nearby area with shops selling very bright and colourful African fabrics where customers are served by equally colourful ladies.

You are lucky to have so many beautiful and interesting places and things to photograph. I live in a small and boring city. There's nothing worth photographing here, especially at this time of year. 😞

Ah but you have your beautiful seascapes and mountains.

I live in a small, flat and boring country. There's nothing worth photographing here, especially at this time of year.

We have rain or overcast skies for 5-6 months.  A lot of coma in the lens won't help me see it differently. 😞

I really love the results you get on your M10. You seem to have a better performing versions than my V2 titan. Sometime I wonder if I should try my luck at picking up another copy.

I usually stop down a bit. At f/2.8, like here, I have all the sharpness I could want in the center. I might like f/2.0 even better, which gives a bit more charm.

I'm quite happy with the copy I have today, made in Canada, 1979. My previous one I think was even better, also Canadian, but 1983. Most people seem to prefer the German ones, though.

I feel your pain. I’ve shot the same lakes and country walks 2000 times in the last month🤣 here is another. Stopped down.

I am on the 3rd copy of this lens (and the one I keep). The first one (Canada) was very soft. Used it for a couple of years and sold it. Missed the uniqueness of this lens so purchased a new sample. It was a late serial number, Made in Germany one. Same, after a year or so got tired of it and let it go. After a while I found a Canada one, made in 1979, that is extremely good. In a series of posts few years ago you can see how it performs compared to the FLE and the Apo-Summicron-M. It is my goto 35mm if I know I will not need a pristine f/1.4 performance.

I have a copy coming in 3 to 4 weeks or so. It is from 1980 and hopefully will be as good as it looks. It is currently with DAG.  Looking forward to having a vintage copy of this lens. Hopefully I will be able to contribute with some photos soon.
