No worries. I actually had two of these (both now sold) and have seen another few since I started this thread.

Thanks, it just looks odd.

Got this reply from the store if someone is curious:

”It is not uncommon to have a lens which is Made in Germany but comes in a box which is marked as "Made in Canada".
Most of the lenses from approx. 1978/79 were first produced in Canada and then the production switched to Germany. The remaining boxes were used and so the box is marked as Made in Canada.”

Hello robbie3,

Nice photos. Please see my Post just below this Post.

That is a nice 1947 Seeburg juke box in the 3rd photo down. It was made in Chicago.

It plays 20 - 78rpm records. 1 side only.

Best Regards,

Michael

Thanks Michael, this was taken at PlayVinyl, a small shop in East London which rebuilds and re-engineers high-end audio equipment as well as selling records.

The owner might be surprised when I casually ask if that’s a 1947 Seeburg next time I drop by.

I feel there's something of the Wes Anderson aesthetic in these two C17th buildings in Norwich.

Thanks GFW2-SCUSA, yes, it is a lovely building with a good open vista from the South.

I read it wasn’t universally liked when it opened 201 year ago, now it’s the only John Nash church left in London.

Friday Night Fun & Games

MP | 35 1.4 Pre-A v2 German | 800T

After being completely out of the Leica game for a couple years, I’m excited to say I just bought a M6 Titanium with matching 35/50 Lux Pre-A titanium lenses. I hope to never have to sell gear again. Excited to have and shoot these wonderful lenses again!
