Advertisement Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Hi Red Dot Cameras, Take a look here First Look at the Leica M10-P with Ivor Cooper & Mike Evans. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ianman Posted August 23, 2018 Share #2 Â Posted August 23, 2018 Thanks for the review, this is the most (and only) interesting video review of the M10-P yet. Â Doing the shutter sound comparison, did you set them to the same shutter speed? The "lingering" sound on the M9 is of course the shutter re-cocking, the actual shutter sound is really not loud at all. Â Is the touch screen only used for image viewing or can it be used for navigating the menus and settings? If this is the case I wonder why they kept the other buttons.

mdemeyer Posted August 24, 2018 Share #8 Â Posted August 24, 2018 Or engrave the name of someone already famous and dead. ;-) Â Including your own name/signature, which will likely devalue any resale.... unless you become famous and die. Jeff Yes, a good prevention against selling too, so also against GAS. Kind of tattoo, it’s irreversible, so you declare your eternal love. I’m inclined to engrave my MM1. wattsy Posted August 24, 2018 Share #14 Â Posted August 24, 2018 An engraved signature usually looks naff IMO.

wattsy Posted August 24, 2018 Share #18  Posted August 24, 2018 Out of curiosity, would an engraving of the Leica logo negatively impact on resale value?   No, not if it's meant to be there (e.g. like the logo on these P models). It's the personal engraved signatures that will have some impact on resale value. I've yet to see one example – whether it's the engraved signature of a famous photographer or not – where I didn't think the camera would be preferable without it.

Gobert Posted August 24, 2018 Share #20  Posted August 24, 2018 Including your own name/signature, which will likely devalue any resale.... unless you become famous and die. Jeff I’m already famous. But a Leica logo would be lovely. Any idea of the costs?
