Guessing I would say shortage of manufacturing capacity to meet unexpected demand which is a planning and resources issue.Leica would not deliberately withhold stock. So, high demand with very low to non-existent supply. I think a resupply before the end of the year but what the allocations per Authorized Dealer will be, unknown. More people than expected have bought the CL and are buying the T/TL lenses. I recently spoke with the folks at B&H Photo regards availability of the 11-23mm lens. yst Posted August 21, 2018 Share #9 Posted August 21, 2018 Someone mentioned that a 21/f2.8 ASPH M-lens on a CL could have better edge performances than a 11-23 TL lens could be on the edges, due to the full frame lens is only using the more centred area on a APS-C sensor...
