The composition and lighting are Marvel-ous. The architect would not be pleased though that your image picked up those unfortunate dimples telegraphing through on the faces of the spandrels.

:) Thanks for the compliment - nicely put. Yes, If I wouldn't have used Leica 75mm om M(240) may be image would not be so clear then those dimples would not be so pronounced, but that's the price we pay for Leica quality. ;)

Thnx prk60091 appreciate you stopping by & a thumbs up.

Terrific shot, and amusing title.  For a couple of years my office building shared space with Mad Magazine, Marvel, and a fashion magazine.  riding up in the elevators I'd be dwarfed by the tall, beautiful models going to the fashion magazine, and the lobbies of Mad and marvel were wonderful.  Marvel's looked like Gotham rooftops.  All I recall of Mad was AEN's huge portrait, but I know there was more.

Thnx Stuart, I'd be working real long hours if I had neighbors like that & muzak will be in my head 24/7. Growing up AENewman was my all time fav, with great wit & timely fair political humor, albeit intellectual & thus sadly in a minority. Saw a small special on MAD & they showed a lobby full of their covers. Miss folding the back covers.

Thnx Blackdoc & MarkP.

Shawn, I agree completely with everyone else - terrific composition and lighting.

Presumably the dimples are just a result of the way the cladding is attached to the building? If the architect had been Mies van der Rohe, that sort of detail just wouldn't have stood

scrutiny (mind you, he controlled details right down to the last nut and bolt).

U're correct @ Mies van der Rohe & I wouldn't blame him. I think the cladding is probably tightened a tad bit too much along with outside sheet panel is slightly thin & thus flexible. That allows finger pointing from Architects' specs & to the sub-contractor & thus the building suffers. IMHO.

Thnx euston & Gobert appreciate it.
