Nice subject, colours and subject separation, but I would have liked a more balanced composition. Now the barn is sitting on her head.

I maybe revisit that option thanks Neil

Okay so I googled Q2 and among others I see a new Leica Q coming out with a ~50 MP Sensor............WOW Unfortunately Im back into playing golf so photography is not as important to me as it once was many moons ago. If I am heading out to take a picture I usually grab my M10 and Noctilux and thats it...........or on none golf days I will maybe buy a few flowers and shoot them with my 8x10 and have a day playing in the dark room. Neil Yes, it makes sense. From the glimpse of the released Q2 pictures, it looks like a gorgeous camera. And the files with that Summerlux should be amazing. And the files with that Summerlux should be amazing. I originally had the Q1 and that was an amazing camera. I just don’t get on to well with 28mm so sold it hoping that leica would come out with a 50mm version. Anyway for all of those that like 28mm I’m sure they will be delighted. TG14 Posted March 5, 2019 Share #53 Posted March 5, 2019 Was thinking about the sunny16 rule and wondering if anyone uses it to shoot the noct.
jaapv Posted March 5, 2019 Share #54 Posted March 5, 2019 What would be the advantage? The M10 has an exposure meter.

I meant using the noct on a fully manual camera. To turn the question around, if sunny16 is supposed to give a balanced exposure by varying the aper given a shuttle speed, then you really cant use that if you want to use thin dof. You could always adjust but it wouldnt be sunny16.

What’s wrong with Apathetic priority and letting the camera do the rest? neil

Been trying to do everything manually. *Not saying it is better.* My images have turned out on the darker side. I have been putting my shuttle side too high/fast hence exposure is darker. Slow film (say 50 Velvia) - take your shutter speed up 4 stops to 1000, and you go 4 stops more open. With an ND filter, you should get close to 0.95 ...
