kismetsky Posted July 10, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 10, 2018 (edited) Hello everybody, fw update 3.0 always the automatic playback is switched on with pressed trigger / directly after a recording? and is it possible that this is not the case before? at my 240 it can at least be adjusted in the menu. but now it seems to have turned off even at. quite annoying to get ne preview if the finger holds the shutter down longer. Does anyone have any idea how to handle this? greetings I noticed the same thing and am completely frustrated by it. It's the default behavior with no way to switch it off on firmware v3.0. When taking longer exposures, my muscle memory has me squeezing and holding the shutter button to avoid camera shake. On the previous firmware, I could recompose/reframe immediately, but now I have to consciously remember to let go of the shutter button before I can see anything. It may take awhile to relearn the process of taking quick consecutive shots. I do not need the automatic playback, I know if I've got a shot or not. What this amounts to is additional "blackout" time that prevents me from seeing the scene I'm trying to photograph. stuny Posted July 11, 2018 Share #4 Posted July 11, 2018 If I understand the description above correctly, that's how it is with version 2 -- I've not yet upgraded to version 3 so I tried it.

Guest tofu_man Posted July 13, 2018 Share #6 Posted July 13, 2018 It caught me out initially so I’ve been training’ myself to release the shutter immediately without jabbing at it. It’s a bit annoying when I’m shooting at night with slow shutter speeds. I usually keep my finger depressed on the shutter button then to avoid camera shake, and I wish itue feature could be disabled.
Voxen Posted July 13, 2018 Share #7 Posted July 13, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I like this new feature because I always disable image preview, but its cool to have it when needed just by keeping the shutter button fully pressed. But they should add an option for this instead of forcing it. Edited July 13, 2018 by Voxen
