Donzo98 Posted July 6, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had a piece of gaffers tape over the top holes on my SL... When I took it off, there is a little residual tape reside in the holes. Anyone have a good tool for getting the residue out?? Thanks...

Jeff S Posted July 6, 2018 Share #3 Posted July 6, 2018 Not sure why you bothered with the weather sealed body, but I would make a quick call to DAG (Don Goldberg) and get his advice. Jeff
AlanD Posted July 6, 2018 Share #4 Posted July 6, 2018 That’s a tough one. Toothbrush or fine artists brush may work although it may end up pushing it in. Have you tried a vacuum? Out of curiosity, what brand of gaffer tape did you use?
Donzo98 Posted July 6, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) Problem solved... at least I think so. Edited July 6, 2018 by Donzo98

jaapv Posted July 6, 2018 Share #7 Posted July 6, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) That is a bit harsh. Try interdental brushes.

youngjohn Posted July 6, 2018 Share #9 Posted July 6, 2018 Try a piece of masking tape rolled round your finger. ‘Dab’ at the holes and with a bit of luck it will grip the residue and pull it out.

Donzo98 Posted July 6, 2018 Author Share #12 Posted July 6, 2018 That is a bit harsh. Try interdental brushes. Jaapv... PERFECT solution. I got the ultra-tight ones.... put in the hole, twisted... and the residue came out on the brush. GREAT IDEA... Now, no more tape on my SL Thanks!!
