Pentax bellows (screwmount) to M mount

Since 1969 I've owned a beautiful set of bellows made by Asahi Pentax. They're designed for the Pentax/Takumar screw mount.

Does anybody know if there might be an adaptor that would allow their use with the M8? They were wonderful with my old Spotmatic and Takumar 1.4 50mm, but now I've gone digital I would like to extend (pun, sorry) their lifespan a little longer yet.

Since all you need is a physical connection, I would probably look for it in two parts, a T2 mount for the camera, and a corresponding T2 adapter ring for the bellows.

You'd probably also have to use an M (Leica bayonet) to LTM (Leica 39mm threaded) adapter, unless you find a mount made for an M. The LTM (M39) version is more common.

Hi' Dejan and Chuck,

Many thanks to you both - you're right, its a surprisingly available solution. There are plenty of adaptors out there and my need is straightforward - since with bellows focussing isn't an issue and my subject matter is so small I can compose the image by looking at the sharp end!
