This is the first 'Q&D' 'handheld' image taken at ISO 3200 f9 to ensure usable shake free shutter speed. Further experiments will be at lower ISO using a copy stand. The main 50cm x 50cm linear polariser is sandwiched between two sheet of glass on a daylight temperature light box. The 'polarising 'analyser' is on the camera lens. Analyser is rotated for maximum polarisation effect. X Vario set up for jpeg, VIVID film mode, HIGH saturation ... to try and emulate Velvia film. Many years ago, pre-digital era, I used Velvia film for similar cross polarisation experiments - Velvia producing the best results. BW, dunk There are elements of spectacular and amazing in these images of yours, but personally, I long for some connection to the real world. Something that enlightens me with an abstract vision of reality, of the normally photographed real world, but somehow in a new way, or with a new eye, that lets me see the abstract beauty around me. If this was a painting, I'd walk past it. As a photograph, I just wish I could see a hint of that truth.
