There is no difference between the M Adapter-T and M Adapter-L. The former was the original name, the latter is the current name for the same thing.

The lens mount was introduced with the Leica T (now TL) and hence called 'T mount.' After the advent of the Leica SL which shares the same lens mount, it was renamed to the more generic 'L mount.'

got mine, actually engraved adapter L ....works a treat with my 90 elmar-C   should I code this lens??

There is no specific coding for "C" Leica lenses (40/2, 90/4) but you may choose the 11800 code of the Tele-Elmarit 90/2.8 if you want to see its name in the exif data. It won't make any significant difference in IQ though.
