Has anyone ever gotten their DMR to interface w/ their PC?  The DMR Owners Manual says that it can, "w/Firewire cable..."  I've tried w/Firewire-to-USB adapter (since I don't have a Firewire socket; but I've never gotten it to work.

Any suggestions?  My PC Operating Sys. are: Windows 7, Windows 10, I even have an old XP machine somewhere.  None seem to work w/ my DMR.  DMR operates fine on its own, however.

You need a copy of the Imacon/Hasselblad Flexcolor 4.7 (last version 4.7, I think) to tether your DMR to a computer

I suppose that should've added that I have Flexcolor 4.7 installed on my PC, per the Owners Manual instructions, for this very purpose...to no avail.  I'm really curious if anyone EVER got their DMR to interface w/ a PC?  If 'Yes', what is/was their setup?

I came that conclusion too. So, I went to an Apple computer store, where they had an old Firewire-to-Thunderbolt adapter, & we tried it on an Apple computer, there in the store. Granted, the Apple computer didn’t have FlexColor 4.7 installed. Still, we couldn’t get the Apple computer to recognize the DMR.  It seems that Leica conceived of every possible way to *prevent* one from interfacing with the DMR via computer–brilliant–it takes a lot of ingenuity to achieve that feat! Likely one of the reasons why the DMR had such a short market life.

I did get this to work with a firewire cable to my Mac Pro (cheese grater)

Interesting.  You're the 1st person whom I've heard of, who actually got theirs to work...  I threw away my mother-in-law's old Mac cheese grater two months ago...didn't think to try it on that, beforehand. :-(

I wonder if anyone has ever gotten their DMR to work w/ an IBM clone PC (Microsoft OS)?
