wizard Posted June 8, 2018 Share #41 Posted June 8, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) ... or even the sale of a Ferrari 250 GTO for $70 million last week. William Yeah, I was the one who bought it. But it turns out the car doesn't even have an inbuilt satnav, which is unbelievable considering the price of the car. So I will return the car and ask for a refund . Andy
Advertisement Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 Hi wizard, Take a look here The Last M3 Ever Made - for Sale (at a price!) ... . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
maximilianm3 Posted June 9, 2018 Share #42 Posted June 9, 2018 I'm not quite sure why the so called last one of an otherwise common and mass produced product should be worth that much.
ianman Posted June 9, 2018 Share #43 Posted June 9, 2018 ... the worst thing about an M3 is that you cannot even tape over a silly red dot in order to pretend that it is not what it is. You can still use tape and to pretend the silly red dot is there in order to pretend that it is not not what it is not. That should throw 'em off the scent :-)
Paulus Posted August 5, 2018 Share #44 Posted August 5, 2018 A person in Canada is selling, on Ebay, the last M3 ever made. It is complete with paper work (from Leitz) testifying to the fact that it is, indeed, the last M3, and is unused and boxed etc etc. If you're interested the price is something in excess of £447,000 (Yes: four hundred and forty-seven thousand pounds!). Are you interested? Here's a link - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THE-LAST-LEICA-M3-1164865-CHROME-10150-CAMERA-BOX-PAPERS-NEVER-USED-AMAZING/292548459994?hash=item441d3f3dda:g:3joAAOSwtdVa6zt6 It's a pity that I have sold my last M6TTL ( In wooden box and a statement that is was of the last 1000 ) Imagine what it would be worth in 80 years if the other M6TTL were lost in some way. It reminds me not ever sell a Leica again, but just keep them in small boxes unused until I am long dead and gone.
