If you are referring to the non-electronic Novoflex adapter this will support manual Nikkor lenses. I am using it for a few "G" lenses. Aperture control works but don't expect any exact display of the aperture chosen. It is just a short twist of the aperture ring to move from fully open to closed aperture (or anything in between). Thus, you need to set the camera to A mode to get the exposure correctly calculated.

Two types of Nikon adapters for SL are available from Novoflex and many others.

For Nikon G lenses, there is a ring which manually closes the aperture.

All Nikon glass upto D, had an aperture ring on the lens which manually sets the aperture.

Novoflex also offer an adapter for E lenses, which allows full electronic control and AF.
