Thanks, but I'm sorry, Erl,  it is still there! Now I see them at 5599 and 5600.

I am new and clumsy with this site, I'm sorry. Can't users remove their posts?

I understand now that the numbers on the upper right are not the numbers of the photos. Do the photographs have numbers when published here?

No. The post # is the only identifier by the forum. I have checked  your earlier post removal request and as far as I can see, they are both gone.

You can delete your own posts within 30 minutes of posting. After that, a mod must do it.

I've heard from @jaapv I think, that the moderators and users do not see the same post numbers, because no posts are deleted, only hidden. This may have lead to a misunderstanding. I can still see three posts with the same image, and I understand why @Erik van Straten wants to delete two of them.

And users can edit (but not delete) posts within one hour after posting, not 30 minutes.

The way to request this is to report your post. That way the moderator can access it directly without having to dig through the forum. Normally we rarely react to a post in a thread. We cannot read everything.

@Erik van Straten I note that compared to most in this thread, your scans of your prints look low-key, low-ish contrast and often quite dark. After a few years I've become accustomed to your style and actually rather enjoy it. In particular you posted a few images recently where the face of the subject is in quite dark shadow in a way that you rarely see and that most wouldn't dare to do, but that, for me at least, works very well. I was wondering how you came to adopt this "look" to your images and if there's any motivation other than just liking how they come out? (this is not a criticism, I like that I can spot your images without checking the name and I very much like the effect).

Obligatory image, though it's been a few months since I've shot film. This was a group planting trees across a piece of abandoned industrial land in the centre of Málaga in the hope that re-foresting it quickly would help the community claim it as a park rather than it being sold for development. How can I report my post? I would say that posting something here is the same as reporting something here, but I guess that not everybody here will agree with that.
