legend4u Posted April 1, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 1, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone, the shutter dial half-stops won't detent on my M10, but the in-between shutter value are still usable, just won't detent at any half-stop... As I recall, it clicks at both marked stops and half-stops since I bought it last December, and it only took 3 months to malfunction... I'm wondering if anyone has had the same problem? Unfortunately I'm now on a long term business trip to some remoted area and unable to send the camera to any Leica service centre, so if there is any way that maybe I can fix the problem myself? Anyone who could shed some light on the issue? Many thanks!

mdemeyer Posted April 2, 2018 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2018 If you mean the points between the marked speeds on the dial, mine have detents.

erl Posted April 3, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 3, 2018 Report it to Leica immediately, explaining you cannot return the camera immediately for the reason you said. Cover yourself with prompt report to leica.
