Does anyone know when will next batch of the 75mm Noctilux lenses arrive in US?

Thanks

John

Not sure about United States, but we should except next delivery to be sometimes in May here in Australia.

The bokeh/sharpness of this lens is incredible.  Props to the Karbe Team [...].  Bravo!

Thank you for expressing how many of us feel. In answer to a question above, the next "batch" is expected in April and my dealer thinks he'll get one lens this month. It may mean two to three lenses for the US market in April. I’ll keep taking pictures with this lens and posting them in this thread. In the meantime, I’m adding links to existing 75 Noctilux samples to my signature line. :)

There are two dealers in the UK that I know which currently have this lens in stock. There may be one or two more. The same kind of availability might be the case in the US if anyone was to ring around some of the smaller dealers.

Thus far I don’t see images that would justify 7000€ more above the Summilux75 for me, let alone the weight and the bulk. The portrait in #29 shows a difference of the Noctilux75 with the Summilux75 but not to that extent.

It’s the law of diminishing returns just like the 50mm Noctilux to the 50mm Summilux, hardly can justify the $7000 difference.

The 75mm Summilux is a very capable portrait lens but more classic rendering and softer glow, each to their own taste and you can read my review here:

Here is a similar image by the 50mm F1 Noctilux Lens, it is evident that the 75mm Noctilux has smoother/creamier bokeh but the 50mm F1 has more character.
