Top is a shot of the Noctilux @ 0.95 on the TL2

Middle are shots of the Noctilux @ 0..95 on the T

Last one is Noctilux on the CL

Thanks for sharing with us ropo54.

To my eyes, the CL renders slightly smoother out of those three.

Here is one more shot of the 75mm Noctilux on M10:

I downloaded and zoomed in the files and compared side by side with my 75mm Summicron APO.

This lens might be as sharp if not sharper. I am lost for words.

Rob, thank you very much. Very kind of you to say. It’s funny but one thing that doesn’t excite me at all is betting on horses when I’m at the racing track with a camera. I guess one reason is I’m so excited about getting a good shot, with manual focus even more so but also with the SL, that horse betting loses all its appeal.

As regards the last shot, even such a stellar lens is not immune to focussing errors ... :) .

whats happening to the background ? kind of splotchy ?

Not sure, it looks fine on my phone but still figuring out the best way to pp and compressing/exporting.

Here is the OOC JPEG, not sure if displays better but still have to compress a lot to post here:

i see the trees are splotchy in this jpeg too...interesting, probably from the bright sky merging with the tree

Yes, I understand especially shooting wide open in bright sunny days here in Australia. Lots of files tend to be overexposed even with minimum iso so might need a ND filter to correct that.

Cheers
