AndreasG Posted January 24, 2021 Share #21 Posted January 24, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I own this Summilux V2 pre ASPH (Made in Germany version) for more than 30 years and I never cared about lens coatings and materials, I simply made photos under low light conditions. In the past with film Ms, now with an M10-D and this little lens still delivers good results. Welcome, dear visitor! And, important for me, is the small size of the Summilux, it is the smallest rigid Leica lens, even smaller than the Elmarit 2.8/28 ASPH. It took you time to love it. Do you ever regret the cron v4? The person in the article loved that lens too. I have heard of several with a similar relationship to the Summilux pre-ASPH. 😉 I am glad I have tried the Summicron v4 and have nothing bad to say about that lens. But the Summilux is my new love now. 😍
