Sawthis one time about 18 months ago.  Have carried the Apple SD to iPhone adapter ever since.  Faster than messing with the horrid WiFi interface.

Also, since I shoot DNG exclusively now, I couldn't use the JPEG-Only WFi anyway.

I experienced the same problem and have been deleting the empty albums one-by-one. I will check the file structure of my sd card and report results. The card was formatted on the Leica Q I'm using, so I'd be surprised if that's the problem.

Leica said it's more or less a bug in iOS but that's total BS since their outdated app just can't deal with iCloud's synch API.

Obviously this is in no way related with whatever SD card structure.

Agreed. I've used Canon's Wi-Fi for several years and never had any serious problems. I can shoot on raw only and download to the app, unlike with the Leica app. Hope to see appropriate updates on v Leica app soon.

I got a notice several months ago from Leica several months ago when iOS11 launched. It told me the then existing app was not compatible with iOS11 and I should delete it. The email also said a new app would be along shortly. I’ve since downloaded the new version of the app from the App Store though not tested it as it’s easier to take memory card and plug it into my computer.
