The only reason to want a half-case for it, in my humble opinion, is a flaming desire to spend some money. rpittal Posted February 26, 2018 Share #4 Â Posted February 26, 2018 I just use the RRS L bracket for my SL and it gives good protection (and access to battery and storage). I keep it in a neoprene body bag in my pack, but the top edge of the hand grip side gets banged a bit and is now rough, But some wear is to be expected if used.
