psquared Posted July 3, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 3, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) This little fellow flew into the backyard and had a ball. I wanted to get down to the ground level, but when I tried, it just flew away. Canfred Posted July 6, 2007 Share #9 Posted July 6, 2007 I love the the little bird on the chair Peter , to me it proves wildlife can live in harmony with us. The photo has better background and detail too. Cheers Manfred
psquared Posted July 7, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted July 7, 2007 Thank you, Paul and Manfred. I have now found out why these birds are frequenting my backyard. We have lettuce growing there, and there are lots of little bugs on the lettuce that these birds fancy. Now I have to hide someplace and get pictures of them with bugs in their bills! Cellotape some lettuce leaves to your lens, Peter! I particularly like your shot of the Jay on the chair, which brings out its character. (The bird's not the chair's.) Exquisite detail and even a catchlight in the eye. Well done! Pete
