Hi all

The shutter dial on my M6 (no TTL)has losen from the camera body, the screw that holds the dial to the camera body has fallen of.

Do anybody know the type / dimensions / size of the screw?

Regards Knut F.

Out of curiosity I checked with a 1985 M6, see the result in the photo, it is 1.63mm. So it is definitely not a M1.6 thread, could probably be 1.7mm, both are according to the DIN. I did not want to check the bore with a 1.7mm thread cuter because it is all too easy to recut into a wrong dimension with only little force in brass material.

I am sure one quick email to Leica will present the exact solution fast.

Not sure where you are located Steven but when I wanted a screw for my 21mm lens I got in touch with Leica Customer Services and they put me in touch with Leica UK in London who not only gave me 2 of them free they even fitted them for me while I waited again free. If I hadn't ben in London on work they would have posted the screws to me again free. Leica seem very goo like that.
