a.noctilux Posted December 21, 2021 Share #2  Posted December 21, 2021 Just measured on one of my M6 Classic: rough dimensions :  1,66mm x 6,40mm by about 0,33mm pitch I don't know if it's DIN dimension or not, to be verified 😉
AndreasG Posted December 21, 2021 Share #3  Posted December 21, 2021 Out of curiosity I checked with a 1985 M6, see the result in the photo, it is 1.63mm. So it is definitely not a M1.6 thread, could probably be 1.7mm, both are according to the DIN. I did not want to check the bore with a 1.7mm thread cuter because it is all too easy to recut into a wrong dimension with only little force in brass material. Welcome, dear visitor! Fotoklaus Posted December 21, 2021 Share #4 Â Posted December 21, 2021 M1,6, M1,7 and M1,8 have all 0,35Â mm pitch. M1,7 is very rare and not listes in the standard DIN 13.

Not sure where you are located Steven but when I wanted a screw for my 21mm lens I got in touch with Leica Customer Services and they put me in touch with Leica UK in London who not only gave me 2 of them free they even fitted them for me while I waited again free. If I hadn't ben in London on work they would have posted the screws to me again free. Leica seem very goo like that.
