SL lenses on CL - has anyone used these and added the handgrip?

This question is for those who may have used any of the SL lenses with the new CL.  If so, have you added the CL handgrip and does it significantly improve the balance of the camera and lenses?

I don't think so.  The SL lenses are so much larger than the CL that you hold the lens, not the camera.  The camera just provides controls and a trigger button.  A firmer grip on the camera would probably put too much strain on the mount.  My example is using the 90-280 S.  The new Summicrons might be different.

Ive used both the 24-90 and 90-280 SL lenses on the CL. I don't think the handgrip would make any difference as it's much more balanced to hold the lens in both cases.  The lenses work very well on the CL, by the way!

I'm using the handgrip when I attach the 24-90 or 90-280.

It becomes handy when you use your left thumb to press the Play/FN/Menu buttons.
