Any modern 1". Sensor P&S? Or DLuX 109

My daughter wants an advance P&S, mainly for her 6 and 4 years kids. DLUX 109 is on the top of my recommendation for her budget limit, portability, and quality.

 

A question to me is, is there any modern 1" p&s that offers better IQ due to the lens/sensor combination? DLUX 109 zoom range is enough. Only looking for AF performance and IQ.

Hard to compare. 1" is small sensor cameras with a lot of DoF so that everything is sharp more or less except macros and closeups. There is a lot of choice there but those are not the same beasts as four third cameras or almost so like DL109 which is more a compact than a P&S camera.
