As a M user I’m always using the full manual mode. You know the right wheel is for speed on the M.

When I use the CL in M mode the right wheel is for aperture. Unlogic because on the M i’m used to use the “right” for speed.

This far I could not find away to chance that. I like to use the right wheel for speed in M mode. Sounds maybe unimportant, but when you use both cameras regulary it is confusing.

Is there a solution, or do we have to wait for an firmware update?

Looking forward for reactions.

You mean on the M10? I have no experience with the latter but shutter speed dials have always been located on the left of the shutter button if memory serves. I do like the current CL design when using my M lenses: left wheel for shutter speeds and exposure correction ; right wheel for zooming and isos. Easier to zoom with the right thumb while pressing the shutter release this way, at least for me. Now i would not mind if different options were available provided the current ones remain as default.

Yep - I'm confused by the OP's post. The M shutter speed dial is "on the left" ie to the left of the shutter button, which is the same as on the CL. With an M lens on in A mode the left dial is exposure comp, in M mode it is shutter speed, which makes sense.

Well, I'm a little confused as well, on the other hand everyone I know who shoots the M in Manual mode has said the same thing.

. . . there isn't a way around it at the moment, but it is something Leica are aware of, so we can but hope!

Not a big deal, but the shutter speed is on the M10 the most right site wheel you can turn. So when I making photos with the M10 while looking though the rangefinder I use the speedwheel.

When I do similar with the CL in M mode, for me is the right wheel the logic one, comparable with the M10. The left one you have to search for while looking through the lens, the right one is easier one. But again there are bigger problems in the world.
