MyLeicaWorld Posted December 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 10, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Today finally I got the Q which is a pre-loved one and I year old. It has no defects but some minor scratches on the body edges.. It came with three original batteries and a B&W filter.. paid 2500 usd for all.. and then from the Leica store Istanbul I bought the original half case and a Leica UV filter. After Fuji X100f I am trying to get used to the Q..

Minigill Posted December 10, 2017 Share #2 Posted December 10, 2017 Welcome to the Q club I too am new to the Q (and Leica), a month ago. I was thinking of getting the 100f as I run the X-T2 as my main rig, but couldn't stop look at the quality of the Q pics, so the latter won the battle ! seratti Posted December 11, 2017 Share #10 Posted December 11, 2017 I bought this one. Cheaper, but exactly the same: Amazon.com
Leica Guy Posted December 11, 2017 Share #11 Posted December 11, 2017 I bought this one. Cheaper, but exactly the same: Amazon.com I bet mine came in a nicer box. :-) This one looks great from what I can see. Half the price of the real Thumbs Up. creidtaylor Posted December 13, 2017 Share #12 Posted December 13, 2017 Thinking to get this thumb grip. What do you think? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071CF3MVQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1512940908&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=leica+q+thumbs+up&dpPl=1&dpID=41ZKN3uqQKL&ref=plSrch Mine came with a Thumbs Up and I used it for a while, though one day it was digging into my side so I took it off. It's been several months and I don't really miss it. I suppose when having to hold the camera up for an extended period of time I might slip it back on. Enjoy your new Q. BTW the Amazon alternative looks like a good fit.
microview Posted December 16, 2017 Share #13 Posted December 16, 2017 Bought the Leica grip and don't regret it as it's become essential for handling (never mind that you need unscrew to release SD card/battery).
