The default Shutter Speed Dial is located at right side of top plate close to the shutter release button very similar to conventional SLR & rangefinder camera.

One of the great things about the SL is you set it up anyway you like. I have a user profile for using manual lenses. I use the top dial for selecting shutter speed.

Reset to factory settings.

 

Then spend some tine with the owners manual.

 

Use the bottom right button to cycle the view to show settings on screen.

 

Shoot away in manual mode.
