Michael Geschlecht Posted November 8, 2017 Share #5 Posted November 8, 2017 Hello WinnowingFan, Welcome to the Forum. Nice photo. Why are their bee hives shaped the way they are & do the bees stay in hives like these when the weather is better? Best Regards, Michael
WinnowingFan Posted November 8, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted November 8, 2017 I don’t know much about them. This is their dormant season. They will emerge in spring. They are housed to keep them in the meadow as pollinators. Apparently, they like to nest in cracks of wood. Perhaps the architect was having some fun with the structure. It sits on a hill overlooking a huge meadow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
