I was able to pick up a new M10 in silver today.  I recently purchased the Q to replace my RX1R ii.  I liked the 35mm of the RX1R ii but sometimes wished I had a little more length on the lens. The 28mm of the Q is nice and wide and it's a great grab and go camera.

I'm thinking for the M10 that the Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH would be a good lens to complement the Q, but was wondering if I should go with a 90mm as well.

The other option I'm thinking about is using the 35mm Summilux-M f/1.4 ASPH because I'm used to shooting 35mm from the Sony and adding 75mm APO Summicron-M f/2 ASPH.

Any thoughts?

I’ve even very happy travelling with a Q and an M with a 50 lux. I will often take a small Tele (90 elmarit or an old but awesome canon 100 f3.5) along as well. I often go out with just the Q and M/lux combo. For some places adding a 21 or 15 is good too. On my last trip I used the Q and M/50 lux and kept my 35 lux in the hotel.

I don't have an M10 but I have an M9P with 21 SE, 35 Cron, 50 Lux and 75 Cron to go along wth the Q. I'd bet that 90% plus of the time I'll pack the Q with the M9P / 50 Lux in the bag for a day trip. It's light weight and covers almost all that I come across. We vacationed in Quebec City this summer (amazing city to photograph in Old Quebec) and that's all I took for the trip. I never felt I needed a 3rd focal length or missed a shot due to lens choice. If you add a third lens sometimes I find I'm spending too much time choosing lens rather than shooting. Either way you can't go wrong w these set up you outlined. Happy Shooting.
