After almost four weeks being sick at home I grabed my camera this Saturday with a 35 cron

and went out to take some pictures at "house butchery".

The event took place at a open land museum Wackershofen near Schwäbisch Hall (South Germany).

All houses are original found in the area and rebuild there to show how life was centuries ago.

A TV crew from Munich was there too to document the event for a campaign for biological produced

meat. No mass animal husbandry, no transport over hundreds of kilometers to big slaughterhouses,

no use of medicnie to keep the stress down for the animals who are not supposed to live together

on almost no space without ever see daylight. Make people aware what we eat and were it comes from.

Dumbstruck! Awesome reportage! Can’t stop running the stop motion film in the head. Residual, cumulative effect. Photographs that assault the senses, not just vision but sound and smell. There’s a subliminal syncopated soundtrack keyed against a heartbeat. Impressive work that should be running in a looped video installation at the gallery or a series of intimate 11x14s.

Hope you are feeling better, on the mend. Your Leica, obviously, passed its physical with a very strong heartbeat. Lub, dub.

Sehr gute Serie!
