a.noctilux Posted November 3, 2017 Share #21 Posted November 3, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I hope you successful with your slide project. Kodachrome quality will never be reached again. I'm happy to use those in different versions (II/X/25/64/200) for decades. Each time that I review them with Pradovit, I can't repeat enough that those were wonder films. From this thread: https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/275849-useful-to-shoot-some-slide-film-%E2%80%93-beoonm10/page-3 . ... and from this :https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/230886-m8-and-beoon/page-2 ... but Velvia and Provia are also great for now . Dr Owl Posted November 4, 2017 Share #22 Posted November 4, 2017 Fujifilm still offer Fujichrome Velvia 50/100 and Provia 100F/400X: http://www.fujifilm.com/products/professional_films/color_reversalfilms/velvia_50/ Just test them one by one if one can suite you. Other reversal films on sale, but Agfa Precisa 100 may be fine: http://www.ag-photographic.co.uk/agfa-colour-reversal-slide-film-386-c.asp Hi John, I haven’t seen Fujichrome Provia 400X on sale — in the UK at any rate — for several years, and was fairly sure it had been discontinued. It is still listed in Fuji’s global website — http://www.fujifilm.com/products/films/color_reversal_films/index.html — but that isn’t a reliable guide: the website can be woefully out of date, and Provia 400X has been deleted from the UK equivalent. Pity. It was the last ISO 400 colour reversal film, and its sunny blues reminded me of beloved Kodachrome. I have just four size 120 rolls left in my freezer. Sigh. Here’s hoping that the forthcoming Ektachrome will be a good addition to our options, John
