How do I set “parameters”?

Question: Why can't I set any parameters in the menu?

 

Answer:

 

You are in "snapshot"mode. Choose another "user"

How does one "choose a user" please.

Press "Set", and scroll to "Choose User Profile", press "set" again. That's how you choose different user profile you've set. 

 

If you are in "Snapshot" mode already, the camera won't allow you to change any settings. To exit this mode, press "Set", which shows the page asking if you want to exit Snapshot mode. scroll to select "Yes", press "Set" again to confirm.

Answered, thank you. Just wish I could have seen this in the Manual, not saying it isn't there I just couldn't find it.

You can download the manual from Leica's site:

This makes it much simpler to find any desired topic (and a few undesired ones, perhaps). You open the downloaded manual with the appropriate reader and use its search function. 

 

Searching for "snapshot" will yield something like forty hits.
