A few days ago I showed you an interesting scene with a mysterious pool-like structure (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/landscape-travel/27787-no-idea-what.html), and one member suggested it was Azzo's swimming pool. Azzo replied that it was just his children's pool. Perhaps this is his adult pool. This is also in Valletta, Malta, and you can see more of Valletta on the first and second Malta photo gallery pages of our site.

Stuart,

Beautiful color and good composition. Not sure if it's intentional, but it looks way oversharpened to me? I find it unpleasant, especillay in the sky. Also, the horizon seems a little low on the left. Sorry, but this one seems to need more (or less) work.

Thank you. Your eyes are sharper than mine. To see if the horizon was tiltied I scrolled the image so that the top edge of the screen came close to the horizon -- It's tilted down to the left about 1/2 degree. I'll adjust that tonight or tomorrow, and at the same time have a look at the amount of sharpening (the unprocessed files are at home).

Stuart,

This is where I spent hours swimming when I was much younger and watched many waterpolo games :).

This really brought back many pleasent memories. Thankyou for posting this lovely image.

Thank you, and I'm glad I could help you recall fun times. To steal a line form Tony Curtis's role in Some Like it Hot, I've had several water polo ponies drown under me.

Stuart, perhaps the rather flat lighting doesn't help to give natural sharpness and opposed to PS effects.
