I took the photo where I live

the small half-timbered building is part of an old farm site ( i don't know what it was used for a long time ago)

these hinges are only found on one side of the building    -    i think more would overwhelm this little house......often less is more

the entire area is called BROKHOF and on this day the completion of the renovation (  taking into account the traditional construction method )of all associated parts of the building was celebrated

the on-site visit was spontaneous and full of people who wanted to celebrate - maybe i'll come back when i have the buildings to myself
