Advertisement Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Hi Neko, Take a look here 35 lux FLE focus ring problem. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
colint544 Posted September 28, 2017 Share #2  Posted September 28, 2017 I've had my 35mm Summilux ASPH FLE for six years. I bought it new. It has always had a distinctive rattle, and a slack aperture ring, but about a year ago it also developed a little play in the focus. Everything (apart from the optical quality, which is superb) just feels slightly sloppy and second-rate. Bit disappointing because it hasn't been heavily used, and I've looked after it. Also, it cost £3600.  In contrast, my battered 1960 35mm Summaron F2.8 operates with jewel-like precision.
lct Posted September 28, 2017 Share #3 Â Posted September 28, 2017 Floating elements are the culprit i suspect. Three of my FLE lenses (35/1.4, 50/1.4, 70/2) have got focusing issues more or less. I would not ask for a FLE version of the 90/2 apo for this only reason.

I have been thinking the floating elements could have something to do too.
