Six years ago to this very day* I got my first (new to me) Leica. The M9-P

So I've made a point of using it a lot this past week (and probably next)

Took this last Sunday. (cron 35)

*actually that's a lie... I got it 6 ya yesterday, but the 50 cron I ordered didn't arrive until the 24th, so although I had the M9 on the 23rd, I didn't get to use it. I seem to recall that Thursday being quite a long day 😅

Oddly enough Adam I am just over 6 years with my first M9, the camera arrived on 29th October 2017 but the 35mm Summicron didn't arrive until 01 Nov 2017. I took my first M9 shot as soon as I had collected the lens from the Post Office on the way to work. A rahter sloppy framed JPG straight out of camera downsized in PS for this posting.

I also followed a similar path to you having been a X-Pro1 user for some years before.

I just looked at my first M9 shots and they're silly crap from around my Mum's house, but by about shot 6 I've made out into her garden

The garden has been landscaped a lot since then, so I'm glad I have these (I appreciate they won't mean much to anyone else though!)

The day after I went to the canal and a local lake

That's almost actually a photo of something 😅

Then a trip to Bletchley Park and London and finally back home to Porto!
