very nice DOF & Colors.

I like the lens very much.

My only gripe is that it hunts to lock focus. If that could be improved it would be exceptional, as IQ is excellent, colors are terrific, it allows for close focusing, and I enjoy the AF as an option on the macro.

Spot focus?  Any improvement with 1Point focus?

Very nice pictures! Allow me to add one as well, with the same combination, but TL2 - it took me forever to get any king of reasonable focus of grandma feeding the baby:

I love the 60 macro on my T, and it will be even better on my new TL2.... Great lens for macro but also for portrait, animals, etc.

Now that the flowers are passing in my Cape Cod garden, my eye turns to cones, berries and leaves. Here is a 60mm macro shot of a cypress cone. They are tiny.
