stuny Posted September 1, 2017 Share #1  Posted September 1, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Every day this summer during which we worked from home (such as today) we start a 9 KM speed walk before sunrise, when it is still cool. This morning, as well as seeing most of the usual suspects (white tailed deer, Canadian geese, mallard and female mandarin ducks, blue heron, night heron, cormorant, other lesser birds and chip monk) we were fortunate enough to see a large red fox (who we call Redd after the comedian Redd Foxx) sitting still enough for me to catch in the dim light, and a musk rat (who we call Darryl after Darryl Dragon of The Captain and Tennille), which we've not seen since late June. Photos attached.  Welcome, dear visitor!
