Vario-Elmar-T 55-135mm

For me, the 11-23 zoom and the 35/1.4 is all I will get in TL format.  This covers wide and standard focal lengths in AF; for anything longer, I have M mount lenses in 50 & 75mm (75 & 112 mm equivalent) and I then have the SL zooms, taking me from 135mm to 420mm if I'm game, and don't want to use the SL.

Why the 11/23mm and not the 23 prime??

Because I'm not a huge fan of the 35mm field of view. I prefer wider, and 17-35mm is more useful. The widest prime I have is 21mm, which gives 32.5mm fov on the TL2. The 11-23mm is the only lens which gives me a wider than 21mm fov in any format.

If the TL works out to be a good walk about camera and the files are good enough for a A2 print then I guess there is no point in getting an M10. The TL can then be a good back up to the Soo7. Back to the 11/23mm I too like a FOV of 21mm, my SEM was/is my favorite lens after the Noctilux

This is a superb lens. I have used it for portraits and it really delivers.
