Advertisement Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Hi fotografr, Take a look here Dancer. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jotam Posted June 26, 2007 Share #2 Posted June 26, 2007 Brent, The photographer had to keep up with the dancer! Both, photographer and dancer seem to be synchronized! And we [the viewers] have eye contact! At least three in one! José

dan_drabek Posted June 26, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 26, 2007 Yes, I do a few of these each morning when I get out of bed. Helps me wake up. Love the shot. Would also like to see the same against a dark backdrop. But I guess when someone decides to do this, you take what background is available. :-> DD

But I guess when someone decides to do this, you take what background is available. :-> DD DD--I'd love to be there with my camera when you do this. Of course, in order to shoot from the same height, I was doing the same movement while shooting. Yes, the background is not what you would expect for a shot like this. It's what happens when photographers have to work with Art Directors . She chose the location and loved it--and we actually had a stage available with a black background. C'est la vie. mgcd Posted June 27, 2007 Share #9 Posted June 27, 2007 Very dynamic portrait, certainly enjoyable. Working with strobes and a white outfit would drive me batty... Cheers,
fotografr Posted June 27, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted June 27, 2007 Very dynamic portrait, certainly enjoyable. Working with strobes and a white outfit would drive me batty... Cheers, Actually, this was shot using available light (large windows behind me) and ISO 640. I had lights with me but didn't want to set them up unless it was absolutely necessary. Most of the other portraits we did (seven others) were much less active.
kidigital Posted June 27, 2007 Share #11 Posted June 27, 2007 Fun. An extra bonus would be if his initials were T. S. The arms and torso form a "T" and his legs a very nice "S". Kurt
