Eoin Posted June 26, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just a quick "take heart" note to those of us waiting for the 55 & 60mm filters from Leica, mine arrived today here in Ireland. Now I've only one outstanding issue, my Noctilux. Hopefully I'll have that soon too.

AGeoJO Posted June 26, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 26, 2007 I received my 55mm last week from Leica and the 46mm 3 weeks earlier here in Southern California. I didn't order any 60mm , which now I need for my Nocti. Since I bought a 46mm earlier, now my 46mm is sitting there. I know it is a long shot but you will never know. Anyone is interested in trading his/her 60mm for a 46mm and of course, I will pay the price difference in $$ .
jlm Posted June 26, 2007 Share #6 Posted June 26, 2007 question re. the Leica 55 filter: will a second one thread onto it? that is, are the male and female threads a mating set? my only 55 is a Tiffen UV and they do not mate. I need this info for an adapter I am making and my Leica 55 is not here yet. thx

So, I assume that you can screw in another filter in front of it then.

carstenw Posted June 27, 2007 Share #10 Posted June 27, 2007 What is happening with 49mm Leica IR filters?
scott kirkpatrick Posted June 27, 2007 Share #11 Posted June 27, 2007 What is happening with 49mm Leica IR filters? Popflash had a black one one long enough to take its picture, but no more are in stock. The same situation applies to their 55mm silver Leica IR filter. Its picture is on the website now, but I bought the only one they have received. scott
carstenw Posted June 27, 2007 Share #12 Posted June 27, 2007 Hmm, this sucks. The WATE is my only unfiltered lens, and I constantly leave the camera in the wrong mode. I look forward to that 49mm filter so I can forget about it again, and just leave it in IR mode.
